Allegro Wine Club Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the Club
There is no fee to join Allegro Wine Club. You may join now, enjoy your Club benefits, and not be charged until the next Wine Club Release. Wine Club Releases are in the months of February, May, August, and November. All Club Collections are discounted at your Club level membership rates. New members will automatically receive their first Club Collection in the next wine club release month after joining.
We correspond with our club members primarily via email. For each club release we send an email announcement. Important club news will be included in this email, such as the pick-up dates, shipping dates, when charges will occur and the link to the PDF Club Notes for that Collection. Throughout the year we will email you about special wine releases, club exclusive offers and allocations, special events and other news. We'll respond directly to these emails; we make every effort to get back to you within 48 hours. We may not be as responsive to posts in the Allegro Wine Club Facebook Group.
Shipping and Pick Ups
We hold 2 wine club pick-up weekends and member mixers for our members at the winery each quarter. All Club members are invited and encouraged to attend. Club Collections may be picked up at the winery during our regular business hours up to 2 days before the first pick up weekend. Pick ups before the scheduled Release date may be allowed with prior arrangement. We hold Collections for members to pick up no longer than 30 days past the Release date; beyond this holding period we will ship your Collection to you using your shipping address on file. UPS shipping charges will be applied to your credit card on file. Please contact us before we ship if you have any issues with the shipping.
Because an adult signature is required upon delivery we recommend delivery to a business address rather than a home address if an adult will not be there. We cannot deliver to a PO Box address.
All cancellations and address changes must be received at least 1 week prior to the scheduled ship date in order to be applied to the upcoming shipment. Important: you may be responsible for additional shipping charges for corrections if we are not notified at last 1 week prior to the scheduled ship date. If your Club shipment is returned for any reason, the fee to re-ship would be the full UPS rate. If there has been some sort of error with delivery, we will be happy to work with you to resolve it.
Accessing Your Club Membership Account
As a Club member, you may log in to view your profile, update your information, customize your quarterly Collection and place online orders in between wine club months realizing your member discount. Login to 'Our Clubs' page using your email address as your user ID.
Customizing Your Quarterly Club Collection
Club members may customize their Collection by changing the selection of wines planned for release prior to the Release Date when your account is billed.
NOTE: Modifications to a Club Collection are made at the discretion of Allegro.
Charges and Corrections
Members who choose to pick up their Club Collection: the credit card on your account is charged on the Release date.
Members who select shipping: If you select to have your Collection shipped, your card on file is charged on the Release date which is approximately 7 days prior to the scheduled shipment. Club charges will include the retail value of your shipment, minus your member discount, plus any applicable tax and shipping charges. We hand pack all Club packages and use UPS Ground for all shipping. Charges will vary with each shipment.
All Members receive a Club Order Email after the Release Announcement. Prior to shipping, members are emailed a Shipping Confirmation. Please review these emails for address and order accuracy and email any corrections to us. If we have not shipped, we can update and create a new label at no charge to you. If we have shipped, correction charges will apply.
To protect the wine we do not ship during periods of extreme high or low temperatures, or when we feel there is a high risk of spoilage. During the hottest and coldest times of the year, we may not ship at all to certain locations. While we make every effort to ensure your wine arrives safely and in excellent condition, we cannot control what happens to your shipment in transit. If you feel you have received a damaged bottle, please contact us immediately.
Suspending or Cancelling
Allegro Wine Club is a perpetual membership until canceled. You may cancel at any time by notifying us at the winery, emailing email@example.com or calling (717)927-9148.
Members may suspend their membership and skip one Collection per calendar year. You can do this online or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Customers who cancel their club membership prior to receiving at least two club shipments in a calendar year will be responsible for reimbursing Allegro for discounts received as wine club members. If a club shipment has been shipped before your notice to us to cancel, you will be responsible to pay for that final shipment.

May I pause my membership or skip a particular quarter?
You may, though for only a single shipment each calendar year (after that, your membership may be cancelled to make room for people on our waiting list).
Can I add to my Club package?
Absolutely – and there’s no additional shipping charge! Just reply to your Club distribution announcement email, or, email firstname.lastname@example.org with your add-ons.
Can I change from having my package shipped to pick up?
You can if you make this change prior to the wine club billing date each quarter. Simply log in to your membership before the customization period ends to make the change or email us at email@example.com.
What is the difference between Club-only and Allocated items?
We’re a small winery – small enough that we may not have enough of a particular wine to sell to the general public. Those items are designated Club-only. When we don’t even have enough to supply the Club, we allocate the item – first to the club members most likely to be interested in a particular wine. For example a a limited supply of Merlot would be allocated to 12-bottle Barrel Club members first, and then remaining quantities offered to 12-bottle Split Club members. If you’re serious about wine, and Allegro, it really pays to be a 12-bottle member!
When can I pick up my wine club package?
You can pick up on the dates specified in your quarterly Club email announcement. We recommend that you come to a Pickup Weekend & Member Mixer if you can – they’re always fun! If you haven’t picked up by the last day of a wine club month, we will send your shipment to you automatically unless you’ve made prior arrangements with us. Can I make substitutions when I pick up my wine club package?
We permit you to customize your wine club package prior to billing. Once your wine club package is packed for shipment, we cannot process requests for substitution. If you’re picking up your wine club package, we’ll do our best to accommodate any substitutions. We cannot however substitute wine after the last day of the wine club month (e.g. February 28, May 31, etc.)
